A very ornately carved wooden chest of Asian origin. At least 50 years old. The top open to reveal lots of storage space. There are a number of scenes carved into the top and the sides. Large, ornately hand-carved Camphor wooden chest or trunk, depicting oriental scenes of landscape, waterfall, and pagoda. Brass clasp on front panel for locking.There is a piece of glass that was made to protect the top and to enable use of the piece as a cocktail table. Very unusual and in perfect condition
