Etching after Pierre-Auguste Renoir (French, 1841-1919), Chalands sur la Seine (Barges on the Seine). Landscape in muted colors, dominated by a river with small barges in a line down the center. Trees and shrubbery on either bank and a turbulent grey and blue sky above. Signed Renoir in the plate lower right. Musee du Louvre Chalcographie blind stamp in center margin. Plain stained wooden frame. Image 13 H x 18 1/4 W. Plate 14 3/4 H x 20 1/8 W. Framed 22 3/4 H x 27 3/4 W. Circa first half 20th century.
